Azule Fuel Inc. is a partnership between Benefuel Inc. and the Reo Energy Group.

Azule has packaged existing piloted technology with a robust second-generation solid acid catalyst that gives it flexibility to process different renewably sourced oils to produce pure glycerine and high quality biodiesel that meets or exceeds ASTM D6751-09 standards for biodiesel. Azule's process is also capable of producing lubricants, solvents and fuel oxygenates. The key to Azule's process is the ENSELTM catalyst that has been developed and patented by Azule's technology partner Benefuel.

Azule is working to build a one tonne per day market development facility in Sarnia in 2012 prior to scale-up.

Azule Fuel is a Canadian company based in Sarnia, Ontario at the Sarnia-Lambton Research Park, University of Western Ontario. It is focused on producing up to 400 million litres of biodiesel in Canada, in response to the mandates set by the Canadian government for biodiesel use. Azule's business model seeks to capture and combine advantages in feedstock selection, logistics and technology to create an efficient, distributed model of production.
